What are the features of Kindle 2, should you upgrade Kindle 1?
The most significant improvement of Kindle 2 over Kindle 1 is the addition of text to speech and WisperSync features. With the text to speech feature, it can read books to you and also allow you to switch back and forth between text and speech modes without losing its place. This feature is especially important for students who learn English as the second language, and for people who want to listen to audio-books during long commute.
