The Vizio XVT3D580CM is Vizio’s new Cinemawide HDTV with a 21:9 aspect ratio, that is wider than normal LED TV (16:9 aspect ratio). This kind of wider display, which has a higher native resolution of 2560×1080 than the standard 1080p HDTV (1920×1080), can display the 2.35:1 (cinema scope) movies without any black bar.

The XVT3D580CM features  passive 3D or Theater 3D technology, Vizio Internet apps, smart dimming edge-lit LED backlight and 120Hz refresh rate, and Bluetooth QWERTY keyboard.   Connectivity includes five HDMI inputs.  Four pairs of 3D glasses were included.

Vizio Theater 3D TV, or  passive 3D TV,  delivers flicker-free and brighter images and significantly reduces crosstalk compared to current Active Shutter 3D LCD TVs.  The passive 3D TV uses polarized glasses, the same as used in 3D movie theater, which are much cheaper and lighter than active shutter glasses.  You can get as many pairs as wish and enjoy 3D movie or sports with  your family and friends for relative longer period of time.

Vizio Theater 3D TV supports many 3D formats, such as Frame Packing, Side-by-Side, Top and Bottom, SENSIO HiFi 3D and the RealD Format and is compatible with Blu-ray, broadcast, cable, satellite, and gaming.

Vizio Internet Apps includes major Internet services such as Netflix, Amazon Video On Demand, VUDU, Pandora, Facebook, Flickr, Rhapsody, Twitter, and Yahoo! TV Widgets. Additional Apps recently released include Fandango®, iMemories, MediaBox(TM), My-Cast®, TuneIn Radio(TM), Web Videos, Wiki TV and Yahoo Fantasy Football.

The Vizio XVT3D0CM has three models:

• Vizio XVT3D500CM 50-inc h,240Hz refresh rate. Available March for $3999.99
• Vizio XVT3D580CM 58-inch, 120Hz refresh rate. Available on March  for $4499.99
• Vizio XVT3D710CM 71-inch, uses VIZIO’s TruLED™ Full Array LED backlighting with Smart Dimming technology
