The  Vizio XVT373SV 37″ RazorLED LCD TV features VIA-Vizio Internet Apps, Built-in WiFi 802.11n Dual Band, a Full HD 1080p resolution,  a 120Hz refresh rate and a 1,000,000 dynamic contrast ratio.  Connectivity includes 3 HDMI inputs.

Vizio Internet Apps and built-in WiFi allow the easy access of some of the best Internet content to your HDTV without mess wires.  Vizio streaming media include Netflix, Amazon video on demand and Vudu video; music services such as Rhapsody  and Pandora.  However, there is no Youtube and it does not offer streaming of your own music, photos, and video via a home network (DLNA).  Vizio says it will add this function during the holiday season of 2010.

Vizio apps include Yahoo widgets, Facebook, Twitter, Picasa and Flickr, Weather, News, Sports and Stocks.  But it does not have Skype.

Cnet rated Vizio XVT3SV series  as 4/5 excellent. XVT3SV series LCD TV is the first ever Vizio LCD TV rated as excellent on cnet.  “The Vizio XVT3SV series’ excellent picture quality, thoughtful design, scads of features, and reasonable price combine to make it the best value among high-end LED-based LCD TVs today.”

Interestingly, this review was listed under XVT373SV, but only applied to larger models which have TruLED full-array backlights and a 240Hz refresh rate and does not apply to small sized 37-inch model, according to Cnet Editor.

There are five models in Vizio XVT3SV series, 55-inch XVT553SV, 47-inch XVT473SV, 42-inch XVT423SV which have a 240Hz refresh rate and use TruLED full-array LED backlights that have more zones that can be locally dimmed than previous models; 37-inch XVT373SV, and 32-inch XVT323SV, which have a 120Hz refresh rate and use RazorLED edge LED backlights that can be locally dimmed technology.  To select the correct size, read which size of LCD TV should you buy.
