The Sony KDL-32EX700 was discontnued and was replaced with the KDL-32EX710, which is very similar with the 32EX700, except the 32EX710 is more energy efficicent and is Energy Star® compliant (Exceeds Energy Star® version 4.0).

The Bravia Internet video and Bravia Internet Widgets are Sony version of the Internet TV, that can stream a wide variety of movies, TV episodes, videos and music from a large selection of entertainment apps including: Netflix®, YouTube™, Slacker®.  You can select  information apps to your screen to  access the latest local news, weather, sports headlines and Twitter® updates.

The WiFi adapter ready allows the  wireless connection of your home network with your TV.  Remember, you do have to purchase USB adapter UWA-BR100 separately.

The 32EX700 is very energy efficient.  There are several features which can save power.  The Presence Sensor turns the picture off when you’re not in the room, leaving only the audio on. After 30 minutes of no motion the audio is turned off and the TV automatically goes into stand-by mode. Ambient Sensor can adjust the picture color and contrast according to the light conditions of the room.  The Energy Saving Switch can eliminate  standby power consumption without unplugging your TV when  the switch is  turned to off position.
