The Sony 40EX523 is very similar to the Sony 40EX520, except the EX523 has an integrated WiFi, which means that you don’t have to purchase the WiFi adapter. The next level up is the Sony EX620 which has 120Hz refresh rate. If you don’t watch a lot of sports, the 40EX523 or 40EX520 is good for you, otherwise considering the Sony 40EX620.
The 40EX523 has very good picture quality especially the HD program. The colors are grisp and the black level are deep. However, the viewing angles are relative narrow. If you watch from the side, the picture quality will degrade quickly.
The 40EX523 has access to video streaming such as Netflix, personalized music at Pandora, videos on YouTube. You can also subscribe the Sony music unlimited powered by Qriocity.
