The Sharp LC-40LE835U 40-inch 3D TV features  edge-lit LED X-Gen LCD panels with Quattron Quad Pixel Technology, AquoMotion 240Hz refresh rate, and  Quad Pixel Plus to improve image resolution, in a slim bezel design.

According to Sharp:  ”Quad Pixel Plus technology provides smooth transitions between colors by enabling shading control of up to 8 millions dots, or sub-pixels”, “a smoother-looking image with a higher perceived level of detail is possible”.

Sharp LE835U series comes with the built-in WiFi and has access to Internet services such as Netflix, VUDU and CinemaNow.

The LE835U Series AQUOS Quattron 3D LCD TVs includes four models:

• 60-inch LC-60LE835U
• 52-inch LC-52LE835U
• 46-inch LC-46LE835U
• 40-inch LC-40LE835U

The 835 series will be available in February.
