Samsung UNC8000 series 3D LED HDTVs feature built-in 3D processor and 2D to 3D conversion system; Edge-lit LED backlight with Seamless Dimming technology; 240Hz refresh rate; built-in Ethernet connection with Samsung Internet@TV support and Samsung Apps.

The upgraded Internet@TV feature includes Samsung Apps, providing a selection of content and applications from leading services like Accedo Broadband, AccuWeather.com, The Associated Press, Blockbuster, Fashion TV, Netflix, Picasa, Pandora, Rovi, Travel Channel, Twitter, USA TODAY, and Vudu.

According to Crave, SamsungUNC7000 series and Samsung UNC8000 series  have Skype video and voice-calling options.  Panasonic 3D plasma HDTV VT25 series and LG LED HDTVs also have Skype capabilities.

Samsung will launch three series of 3D LED HDTVs in 2010: Samsung UNC9000 seriesSamsung UNC8000 series and Samsung UNC7000 series.  Samsung UN40C7000 , UN46C7000 and UN55C7000 will be available for shipping on April 16, 2010,  according to Engadget. But you have to order the 3D glasses separately.  You can pre-order Samsung UN46C7000 and Samsung UN55C7000 at Amazon now.

Many users of Samsung UN55C8000 are very happy with the picture quality and there is no flash-lighting associated with Samsung UNC7000 series. Most likely, Samsung UN65C8000 will be very similar the Samsung UN55C8000.
