Samsung PND8000 series review: Samsung 3D plasma TV 2011
The Samsung PND8000 3D TV is Samsung’s high end 3D plasma TV in 2011 featuring Smart TV, built-in WiFi, touch screen remote, in a narrow bezel Touch of Color design with 1.5-inch depth. The PND8000 series is the successor of last year’s popular Samsung PNC8000 series.

The Samsung PND8000 series and Panasonic VT30 series 3D TV are the best 3D plasma TVs. Both have excellent picture quality. The major advantage of the PND8000 series over the VT30 series is the Samsung Smart TV, which is better than Panasonic VIERA Direct.
Samsung’s new Smart TV includes Samsung Apps with a universal search and Web browser, and built-in Wi-Fi. The universal search can search across broadcast listings, networked PCs and mobile devices, and Internet channels and Video on Demand services.
The PND8000 series also have a LCD Touch Control TV remote with a virtual QWERTY keypad and built-in Wi-Fi. The LCD remote can control your home theater, access Samsung Apps over the Internet without interfering with the TV’s on-screen action, and even duplicate the TV screen with its built-in 3-inch display.
Other features include Real Black Filter picture enhancement, Local Contrast Enhancer (LCE) and Cinema Smooth processing. The Samsung PND8000 was claimed to have better black levels.
