Samsung 40-inch UN40C7000 3D LED HDTV
Samsung UN40C7000 40-inch 3D HDTV is one of five models in Samsung UNC7000 series, the low end of Samsung 2010 3D LED HDTVs, featuring the built-in 3D processor and 2D to 3D conversion system; Edge-lit LED technology; 240Hz refresh rate; built-in Ethernet connection with Samsung Internet@TV support and Samsung Apps.
Samsung UN40C7000 will be available for shipping on April 16, 2010 at the preorder price of $1999, according to Engadget. You have to order the 3D glasses separately.
Samsung UNC7000 series is compatible with multiple 3D standards, including both half- and full-resolution 3D, as well as the Blu-ray Disc Association’s “Blu-ray 3D” standard. When the 3D contents are not available, the TV will convert the 2D content to 3D for viewing. Samsung UNC7000 series also comes with Skype.
The upgraded Internet@TV feature now includes Samsung Apps, providing consumers with an expanded, easy to navigate selection of content and applications from leading services like Accedo Broadband, AccuWeather.com, The Associated Press, Blockbuster, Fashion TV, Netflix, Picasa, Pandora, Rovi, Travel Channel, Twitter, USA TODAY, and Vudu.
