Samsung will launch three series of  3D LED TVs in 2011: UND8000 series, UND7000 series and UND6000 series.

Samsung UND8000 series 3D LED TV

The Samsung UND8000 series 3D TV, the successor of the popular Samsung UNC8000 in 2010,  is Samsung’s high end 3D LED TV in 2011 featuring Smart TV, 240Hz refresh rate, Edge-lit LED backlight with local dimming plus micro dimming Pro, built-in WiFi, and what the company is calling “the world’s first Internet-enabled touch-control TV remote.”

The UND8000 series incorporated Micro Dimming technology to improve image quality and use Bluetooth based 3D active glasses to avoid the interference of IR remote.

The UND8000 series include 4 models:

• 65-inch UN65D8000
• 60-inch UN60D8000
• 55-inch UN55D8000, MSRP $3599
• 46-inch UN46D8000, MSRP $2799

All will be available in the first half of 2010.

Samsung UND7000 serie 3D LED TVs

The Samsung UND7000 series s 3D TV is Samsung 3D LED TV in 2011 featuring Smart TV, 240Hz refresh rate, Edge-lit LED backlight, built-in WiFi,  and 0.2-inch ultra-slim bezels and a reduced cabinet width design.

The UND7000 series include 3 models and  will be available in the first half of 2010.

• 60-inch UN60D7000
• 55-inch UN55D7000, MSRP $3099.99
• 46-inch UN46D7000, MSRP $2299.99

Samsung UND6400 series 3D LED TVs

The Samsung UND6400 series is Samsung’s  low end  3D LED TV featuring Edge-lit LED backlight with local dimming, Double-frame-rate technology for smooth and sharper images, 120Hz refresh rate and  Samsung Apps with universal search.

Both UND7000 series and UND6400 series also have 3D bluetooth glasses.  However, the UND6400 series do not have  the Web browser and built-in Wi-Fi found on Google and on step-up 2010 Samsung Apps-equipped models: UND8000 and UND7000 series.
