The most useful filters for digital SLR lenses are polarizing filters. The effects of polarizers will not be able to reproduce by the use of photoshop. Polarizers can add “wow” factors to your photos: polarizers can saturate color, provide better contrast and remove unwanted reflections from non-metallic surfaces such as water or glass. B+W polarizers are of best quality. Circular polarizers are designed for AF digital SLRs. B+W MRC (Multi-Resistant Coating) or Hoya HMC are the best choices.
