Consumer Reports tested this model to have very good picture quality and good sound quality.  One strength of Panasonic VIERA S1 Series TC-L37S1 is the above average viewing angle.  Panasonic TC-L37S1 may not be as good as Samsung LN37B650, but it is more affordable than Samsung LN37B650 and better than many others.
