The Panasonic TC-P55VT30 is Panasonic’s  top of the line  55-inch 3D plasma TV featuring an Infinite Black Pro 2 panel, Viera Connect Internet Suite, 3D compatible SD card slot, and THX certification.  The TC-P55VT30 includes one pair of 3D glasses.

The major improvement of the VT30 series over the VT25 series is the addition of the ”Infinite Black Pro 2 Panel.” Panasonic claimed  the panel “raises the luminous efficiency while minimizing pre-discharge, resulting in even more subtle, delicate blacks, in both dark and bright environments than last year’s Infinite Black Pro Panel provided.”

The  TC-PVT30 series are the successor of the last year popular TC-PVT25 series 3D plasma TV.  If you want to buy a 3D TV, this will be one of the top choices on your watch list.  Even you might not care about 3D at this time, the 2D picture quality of the VT30 series is supposed to be  much better than the 2D plasma models such as the S30 series.

If you prefer to have a 3D TV with better Internet content, such as a TV with a web browser, the Samsung PN59D8000 or the Samsung PN51D8000 will be the one for you.  The Samsung PND8000 series also has a LCD Touch Control TV remote with a virtual QWERTY keypad and built-in Wi-Fi.  The LCD remote can control your home theater, access Samsung Apps over the Internet without interfering with the TV’s on-screen action, and even duplicate the TV screen with its built-in 3-inch display.

The Panasonic TC-PVT30 series includes two models:

TC-P55VT30  55-inch, available April, $2799

TC-P65VT30  65 inch, available May, $4299
