The TC-P42S30 is not the successor to the TC-P42S2. It is the successor to the TC-P42U2. The P42S2 has 1080 lines of resolution for motion video. Like the P42U2, the P42S30 does not. The P42S2 has a NeoPDP display. Like the P42U2, the P42S30 does not. The P42S2 has an AR filter. While I can not find any mention of the P42S30 not having an AR filter, I also can not find any mention of it having an AR filter. While the P42S30 has several features even the P42S2 does not, it lacks some important features the P42S2 does have.
