Nikon D700 in-depth reviews
DPreview posted the detailed review of Nikon D700, the latest full frame Nikon digital SLR with more compact body and more affordable than Nikon D3. Nikon D700 can produce images almost as good as D3. The low light, high ISO performance is very good with usable up to ISO 12800. It is fast with accurate AF. But comparing with Canon 5D mark II, the lack of HD video recording on Nikon D 700 might be a killing factor in choosing Nikon D700 unless you have a collection of Nikon lenses.
