Nikon D300s is the successor of the popular Nikon D300, featuring a 12.3 megapixel CMOS sensor and 51 points autofocus. Comparing with Nikon D300, Nikon D300s added new features such as 720p HD video recording (24 fps, auto focus while recording and input for external microphone), live view, faster continuous shooting speed of 7 frames per second and have both CF card and SD card slots.

Best lenses for Nikon D300S
The best walk around lens is Nikkor 17-55mm f/2.8G AF-S. This is a professional grade lens with high building quality and image quality. The only issue is the lack of VR, which limits its use under low light.
