LG 72LZ9700

The LG 72LZ9700 is LG’s largest consumer TV and Full HD 1080p 3D-enabled HDTV,  featuring Full LED Slim technology with Local Dimming, TruMotion 480Hz refresh rate,  and THX 3D and 2D Display Certification (pending).   Other key features include LG  SmartTV with Magic Remote, DLNA, Built-in Wi-Fi  (adaptor included) and Smart Energy Savings.

Smart TV is LG’s upgrade version of last year’s Netcast Entertainment Access, including apps such as Netflix, Picasa Hulu plus, youTube,  an app store and a  web browser.  To improve the user interface, LG uses an unique motion-controlled magic remote that accepts gesture commands such as rotating.  You can also use iPhone or Android phone as the remote.

LG  SmartTV-enabled sets can integrate into a wireless home network by using a USB wireless broadband adaptor (included). All LG SmartTV models also support multi-media playback from a connected USB device including photos (JPEG), music (MP3) and video (DivX HD).

Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA) technology allows users to access content stored on other DLNA-certified devices within the home, such as computers or an LG NAS device.

LG has launched the new LZ9700, a 72-inch set that is apparently the world’s largest full LED-backlit LCD 3D TV and is powered by a TruMotion 400MHz processor, really looking forward to it.
