LG 50PS80 is a 50-inch Full HD 1080p plasma TV featuring Dynamic Contrast Ratio 2,000,000:1, NetCast Entertainment Access to stream movies, TV shows and videos, news through Ethernet, 600Hz sub-field driving refresh rate technology for realistic movement in sports and movie actions, THX Display Certification to deliver great video images and sound. There is also 60-inch model in the same series, LG 60PS80. Model LG 50PS60 does not have NetCast.

According to David Katzmaier of cnet, LG 50PS80 has superb interactive features including Netflix, Vudu, Yahoo Widgets and Youtube. But the picture quality is not great with relative light black level.
