LG 3D plasma HDTVs 2011
LG will introduce six series of plasma HDTVs with a total of 12 new models in 2011. Four series are 3D plasma HDTVs.
INFINIA PZ950 Series
The PZ950 series is LG’s flagship plasma, Full HD 1080p 3D-enabled HDTV features uni-layer design with ultra-slim bezel, LG SmartTV with Magic Motion Remote, THX 3D and 2D Display Certification. Also includes TruBlack Filter, 600Hz max Sub-field Driving, DLNA, Wi-Fi capability (adaptor included), and Smart Energy Saving features.
Smart TV is LG’s upgrade version of last year’s Netcast Entertainment Access, including apps such as Netflix, Picasa Hulu plus, youTube, an app store and a web browser. To improve the user interface, LG uses an unique motion-controlled magic remote that accepts gesture commands such as rotating. You can also use iPhone or Android phone as the remote.
The LG PZ950 series has two models:
- 60-inch LG 60PZ950 $2699
- 50-inch LG 50PZ950 $1899

Full HD 1080p 3D-enabled HDTV features uni-layer design with ultra-slim bezel, LG SmartTV with Magic Motion Remote, THX 3D and 2D Display Certification. Also includes 600Hz max Sub-field Driving, DLNA, Wi-Fi capability (adaptor required, sold separately), and Smart Energy Saving features.
The major performance improvement of the PZ950 series over the PZ750 series is a black filter that was designed to enhance the black level in a brighter room.
The LG PZ750 series has two models:

PZ550 Series
Full HD 1080p 3D-enabled HDTV features LG’s TruSlim Frame, NetCast™ Entertainment Access, DLNA, Wi-Fi capability (adaptor required, sold separately), 600Hz max Sub-field Driving and Smart Energy Saving features.
NetCast Entertainment allows the access of popular Internet services such as Netflix, CinemaNow, VUDU, Picasa, MLB.com etc.
LG PZ550 series 3D plasma TV has two models:
- 60-inch 60PZ550 $1899
- 50-inch 50PZ550. $1299
PW350 Series
Provides mid- to large-size 3D-enabled HDTV with LG’s TruSlim Frame, 600Hz Sub-field Driving and Smart Energy Saving features.
