LG 3D LED TVs 2011
The 2011 LG 3D LED TV line up includes LZ9700 series, LW9500 and LW7700 series, LW6500 series and LW5600 series. The LW9700 and LW7700 sets are LG’s first Nano Full LED TVs which produce bright, clear pictures with the NANO Lighting technology. LG claims, “ An extremely thin film printed with a proprietary light dispersion pattern and combined with a full array of LEDs disperses light more evenly across the screen, creating pictures that are brighter and more uniform than conventional edge-lit LED sets.”
The LW9500 and LW7700 were recognized with CES 2011 Innovations Awards, including the “Best of Innovations” distinction in the Video Displays category for the LW9500.
The LW6500 series and LW5600 series are passive 3D TVs. The passive 3D TV uses polarized glasses, the same as used in 3D movie theater, which are much cheaper and lighter than active shutter glasses. Therefore, passive 3D TVs are particularly suitable for large groups of viewers to watch 3D sports or movies.
All the 3D LED TVs have Smart TV platform. Smart TV is LG’s upgrade version of last year’s Netcast Entertainment Access, including apps such as Netflix, Picasa Hulu plus, youTube, an app store and a web browser. To improve the user interface, LG uses an unique motion-controlled magic remote that accepts gesture commands such as rotating. You can also use iPhone or Android phone as the remote.
LG Smart TV-enabled sets can integrate into a wireless home network by using a USB wireless broadband adaptor (included). All LG Smart TV models also support multi-media playback from a connected USB device including photos (JPEG), music (MP3) and video (DivX HD).
LZ9700 series 72-inch 3D LED TV
LZ9700 series has only one model-the 72LZ9700. The LG 72LZ9700 is LG’s largest consumer TV and Full HD 1080p 3D-enabled HDTV, featuring Full LED Slim technology with Local Dimming, TruMotion 480Hz refresh rate, and THX 3D and 2D Display Certification (pending). Other key features include LG SmartTV with Magic Remote, DLNA, Built-in Wi-Fi (adaptor included) and Smart Energy Savings.

The LG LW9500 series 3D LED TV is the new ‘nano’ LED TV that will be launched in 2011. The LW9500 series features a new “nano” monitor with improved local dimming technology, Smart TV, 480 Hz refresh rate, 2D to 3D conversion system, WiFi ready and Skype ready in a slim design of less than one inch.

LW7700 series 240Hz nano 3D LED TV
The LG LW7700 series 3D TV is the new ‘nano’ LED TV that will be launched in 2011. The LW7700 series features a new “nano” monitor with improved local dimming technology, Smart TV, WiFi ready and Skype ready, 240 Hz refresh rate, 3D ready with 2D to 3D conversion system and many picture controls for the 3D images in a slim design of less than one inch. The LW77 series is THX 3D certified display.

The LG LW6500 series is LG’s passive 3D TV featuring a Film-type Patterned Retarder (FPR) panel, 3D Light Boast, 2D to 3D conversion, LED plus with local dimming, 240Hz refresh rate, Internet TV along with DLNA, WiFi and DVR ready.
