Canon 60D is the successor of the Canon 50D with significant upgrades including: 18 MP CMOS sensor with 3″ LCD with 1,040,000 dots resolution; 1080p HD video recording and SD memory card. Available at the end of September, the Canon 60D comes in a kit with the 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS zoom lens for US$1,399.00, and body only for US$1,099.00.

Best lenses for Canon 60D
The best walk around lens is Canon EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 IS USM. This lens is very sharp with constant and large aperture 2.8. The three stop image stabilization allows to take photos at low light. With the 1.6x factor, Canon 17-55mm corresponds to 27-88mm in a 35mm camera.
The best telephoto lens is Canon EF 70-200 mm f/4L IS USM. This lens is extremely sharp. It is relatively light (700g) with 4 stop image stabilization. Highly recommended!
