Best flash memory cards for digital SLRs

The quality and reliability of flash memory cards are extremely important.  In early post, how to avoid and identify the counterfeit memory cards were described.  Here are a list of best cards for digital SLRs. 

  • Lexar memory cards (including Compact flash card used in Canon 40D, 50D and SD/SDHC card used in Canon XSi.  These cards are professional grade,  fast and reliable.  If Money is not an issue, you can buy them for the peace of mind.

 

  • San Disk compact flash cards (ultra and extreme), SD/SDHC card  (ultra and extreme) are the most popular cards used in digital SLRs.  But beware, there are more counterfeit San Disk memory cards than any other brand.
