Sony Bravia KDL-BX300 delivers very good overall picture quality, excellent color accuracy and very good handling of motions.  However, the viewing angle is limited and the contrast and black levels are only fair.

Samsung LN22C450 22-inch 720p LCD TV

Samsung LN22C450 has very good overall picture quality and excellent color accuracy.  But the contrast is weak and viewing angle is limited.  The major issue is that there is only one HDMI input.  This could be a problem if you want to connect to DVD or Blu-ray player, cable box both through HDMI input.

LG 22LD350 22-inch 720p LCD TV

LG 22LD350 is LG’s budget LCD TV featuring 720p resolution; 50,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio; picture wizard  for easy picture calibration and Smart Energy Savings. Connectivity includes one HDMI input.

LG 22LD350 delivers very good picture quality and accurate colors.  But the viewing angle is very limited and there is only one HDMI input.

The bottom line:

22-inch LCD TVs are very affordable and are good choices for small rooms.  However, the sound quality is fair most of the time and the viewing angle is very limited.
